Good morning all, myself and the devs have decided to push the PERPs and xPERPs launch back one more week. PERPs is a very complicated offering, and has many moving parts with the xPERPs yield farm now attached, the GRO VDC's also tied directly in with all of that.. The reason for this is so we can consilidate all 3 veGRO staking setups into one new version on BSC... There will be new revenue streams setup for the new staking system to reward those long term holders and boost their rewards massively! There will only be 2 staking options, xPERPs/BNB and counterparty pool tokens.. You can stake the counterparty pool tokens to earn xPERPs also... What this does is incentivise heavily the counterparty pool, and also trading volume on PERP's and it also provides a marketing angle for PERP's that could increase adoption of the platform massively.. The dev's are very much in favor of the idea, and think it is a very bullish addition for PERPs and GRO VDC's.. We want to get PERP's up on Dev server and us testing and making sure that has no problems by next Tues or Wed, and then once cleared, we can look at adding this additonal layer, and then snapshotting GRO, and veGRO (veGRO staking would just be snapshotted at this time, those contracts would be added later after the launch of PERP's etc) Doing the airdrop of GRO to new token, and then we can launch the GRO VDC with the new token before the PERPs launch, so GRO VDC and the incentives token can all be rolled out, along with PERP's... With the PERP's launch on the 7th, and xYIELD looming, and now xPERP's, and others, there has never been a better time to be part of the Growth Ecosystem!!! In the coming days there'll be a change in the cLQDR receiver contract (the one that converts all the different tokens from rewards into cLQDR and then burns the cLQDR), this change is to update the way that the 12.5% fee is distributed. Current setup: The entire fee is sent to the veGRO Reward Distributor. New setup: A maximum of 50 cLQDR per day is sent to the veGRO Reward Distributor, any excess cLQDR from the fee will be used to increase the liquidity of PiC. Example: -500 cLQDR is bought back with rewards -437.5 cLQDR is burnt (increases price per share) -50 cLQDR sent to the veGRO Reward Distributor -12.5 cLQDR used to add liquidity to PiC Effects of this change: -cLQDR rewards for veGRO holders will continue growing steadily (as 50 cLQDR is worth more LQDR after each buyback) -Growth in the xLQDR amount held by cLQDR will snowball the amount of liquidity added to PiC overtime -For cLQDR holders the fee is the same one but they'll benefit with increased liquidity depth in the long run This change won't increase the liquidity of PiC in the short term by a lot, it's a 6-12 month plan to overtime own a larger % of PiC's liquidity.
